Dr. Stephanie Moore is an Associate Professor in the Division of Health Sciences and Director of the Exercise Science Program at the University of Saint Mary. She is a co-founder of AT Final Frontier and held the role of Director of Curriculum Development. Dr. Moore previously served as an Associate Professor and founding Program Director of the professional Master of Science in Athletic Training at California State University, Fresno. She holds a PhD in Rehabilitation Science and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Statistics from the University of Kentucky, a MS in Athletic Training from Illinois State University, and a BS in Athletic Training from the University of Central Missouri. Dr. Moore has a commitment to professional service, having served on the Managing Board of the California Athletic Trainers’ Association, Research Committee of the American Society of Shoulder and Elbow Specialists, NATA Professional Education Committee, and a number of university committees. She is the recipient of the Provost Award for Promising New Faculty from California State University, Fresno. Dr. Moore’s research and clinical interests include prevention and treatment of shoulder injury, statistics and research design, interprofessional collaboration, and methods of evidence-based practice.
Dr. Eric Post is the Manager of the Sports Medicine Research Laboratory for the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee. Dr. Post previously served as Program Director for the Master in Athletic Training Program at Indiana State University and as a faculty member at San Diego State University. Dr. Post earned his B.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his master’s degree from Illinois State University. Dr. Post’s line of research focuses on improving sports safety by preventing overuse injuries and addressing potential barriers to safe sport participation that may impair life-long physical activity.
Dr. Megan Pilcher is an Assistant Professor of Athletic Training in the Division of Health Sciences and Director of the Master of Science in Athletic Training Program at the University of Saint Mary. Dr. Pilcher previously served as an assistant athletic trainer and teaching specialist at Simpson College, and prior to that outreach athletic trainer for Fort Madison Community Hospital. She earned her Ed.D in Educational Administration and Leadership with a specialization in Adult and Higher Education from the University of South Dakota, M.S. in Kinesiology from Western Illinois University and B.A. from Loras College. Dr. Pilcher’s clinical interests include emergency care and management, general medical conditions, and preceptor training and development.
Dr. Scott Sailor is Associate Dean of the College of Health and Human Services and a professor of Athletic Training at California State University, Fresno. He is also the co-founding executive
director of the Central California Sports Sciences Institute housed at Fresno State. Besides
holding a doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from UC Davis, he also has completed the
Management Development Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education as well as the Goldman School of Public Policy, Center for Studies in Higher Education Executive Leadership Academy at the University of California, Berkeley.
He is honored to have been inducted into both the Far West Athletic Trainers’ Association and
the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Halls of Fame. Throughout his career, Dr. Sailor has
received several teaching awards including the California State University, Fresno Provost
Award for Excellence in Teaching with Technology. His current projects involve the
implementation of interprofessional education in health and human services as well as the use of XR/VR in healthcare education.
Dr. Sailor has held several leadership positions including having been the 13 th President of the
National Athletic Trainers’ Association. He continues to seek out opportunities to contribute his
experience and passion to the academy. Dr. Sailor has a strong personal commitment to the
students and institution which he currently has the opportunity to serve.
